First let me state this was a first experience w/Amazon as far as text rental goes. The cost was super low compared to NEEBO which now runs our campus bookstore and has a text rental option. So from that perspective, I would endorse that option for those a bit leery on buy vs. rent.Overall this was a short text (as far as pages go) and was for a winter session class so it served that purpose. The instructor used the exercises as dictated in the text assignments. Not a keeper as this was a general ed. course not a major requirement but was an easy read for an intro. to communication subject. Chapters were easy reads as related to the tests given by the instructor so the author did a good job in that respect.
